Cosmetic treatments and medication
All the FAQs below relate to medication and anti-wrinkle, dermal filler, and double chin injections.
Can I have dermal filler and anti-wrinkle treatment if I take medication for high blood pressure?
Yes, it is perfectly safe for someone with high blood pressure to have anti-wrinkle, dermal filler, and double chin treatments.
Can I have dermal fillers if I take heart medication?
It is fine to have treatment when you are on medication for heart arrhythmias. Taking medication such as aspirin, warfarin or clopidogrel can, however, make you more prone to bruising.
Can I have anti-wrinkle treatment when taking antibiotics?
Many commonly used antibiotics are fine to use when receiving anti-wrinkle injections. However, aminoglycoside antibiotics are not recommended for use when receiving anti-wrinkle treatment.
