Are there any long term side effects/risks with double chin treatment injections?

The 7 year data that is available from the USA there are no long term side effects from double chin injections.
Patients are often concerned that the skin under the chin will be looser but what we are finding, and from results in the USA, is that the skin under the chin actually tightens. Double chin injections cause inflammation for a few days and fullness for a couple of weeks. This inflammation causes a fibrosis effect to tighten the skin in the area.
