I was wondering if anti-wrinkle can fix facial asymmetry. It looks like the other side of my masseter muscle is bigger than the other due to teeth grinding or clenching.
Anti-wrinkle treatment can be used to slim the masseter muscle on one side to reduce the asymmetry caused by repeated grinding or clenching. Sometimes you can feel that the muscle is stronger on one side than the other – use the index fingers on both hands to feel the masseter muscle and clench your teeth. Sometimes at rest you will be able to see one muscle stronger than the other.
We tend to use 25-30 units each side to treat masseter muscles and reduce tooth grinding.
