Do you use local anaesthetic to reduce pain when treating the tear trough?
Based on patient feedback, we don’t believe it’s painful to treat the tear trough with volume enhancement treatments. It just feels a little odd because it’s so close to the eye. Sensation may also be different depending on the specific way the treatment is carried out.
The choice to numb the area will depend on the treating practitioner, as well as the specific treatment circumstances.
If you would like to get more information about how the treatment works or personalised advice, we encourage you to book a consultation with a Cityskin clinician.
