We suggest avoiding touching the lip area for a couple of hours after, to prevent the risk of infection. Additionally, no make-up for 12 hours or until the next day with volume enhancement treatments. The following day is fine to apply makeup and lip balm. It’s best to do everything we can to prevent a complication such as an infection from touching the area and applying make-up.
