Her academic credentials are robust, with a Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) completed in 1999 and a Bachelor of Nursing obtained in 2015. Kristie’s professional journey includes honing her nursing skills in surgical and acute medical wards at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Hospital, with a focus on neurology and cardiology. 

With over 8 years of experience as a cosmetic nurse, Kristie has cultivated a deep understanding of aesthetic medicine across a variety of clinical environments. She has worked alongside dermatologists, cosmetic radiologists, and seasoned cosmetic physicians, further enriching her clinical expertise and aesthetic judgment. 

Kristie’s passion for anti-aging treatments is evident in her versatile skill set. From addressing mid-face volume loss to performing facial slimming treatments for bruxism, she embraces a natural philosophy in facial rejuvenation. Dr Stephen Whelan is a cosmetic doctor practising at Cityskin. He completed his medical degree at University College Dublin in 2017 and has since gained a broad and valuable foundation of medical experience across psychiatry and emergency medicine. These specialties have equipped him with a deep understanding of both the psychological and physical aspects of patient care, as well as an ability to work calmly and effectively in complex clinical situations.

Dr Whelan commenced his training in aesthetic medicine in 2020 and, has gone to fully dedicate his time to the cosmetic field. He is committed to practising with the highest ethical standards, ensuring that every treatment is evidence-based, safe, and tailored to individual needs. His philosophy centres on honesty, transparency, and a genuine focus on achieving natural results that enhance rather than change a patient’s appearance.
