Do anti-wrinkle micro plungers work?

Do anti-wrinkle micro plungers work?

Home > Questions > Do anti-wrinkle micro plungers work?

There are a number of micro plungers to treat wrinkles. The effectiveness depends on the depth of the micro-plunger that you are using. There is a mirco plunger that you can use at home made by Dermaroller. It pierces the Stratum Corneum (most superficial layer of skin) and allows deeper delivery of skincare product into the skin by causing very small perforations in the skin. The medical dermarollers penetrate deeper: to 0.5 or 1.5mm whereas the home kits penetrate <0.15mm.

If you are looking to treat scarring then the medical version under sterile conditions and in a medical clinic would be the best solution. It has been shown to remodel collagen and increase elastin.
