Unfortunately, we do not recommend injecting non-permanent fillers over the top of permanent fillers, due to the risk of infection.
Permanent fillers are said to last about 10 years. However, we don’t know if there is still product in there, even after 10 years. Complications, such as biofilm (very resistant microorganisms to antibiotics), can be very difficult to treat, and, therefore, the risk does not outweigh the benefit.
